Veterans Day November 11, 2023 We remember and honor those who served. -St. George Church Preservation Society December 7, 1991                               Photo Credit: Helen Baney, Class of 1942 In partnership with Mary, Queen of Peace Parish and supported by SGCPS, the St. George WWII memorial plaque is presently undergoing extensive repairs & restoration by a dedicated parishioner. Once that process is completed, the plaque will be refinished. A St. George alumnus has volunteered to construct a monument at the Cemetery where the plaque will be respectfully displayed. Please pray for the volunteers and workers who are making this possible. Inscribed are the names of the 1,017 who saw service including the 35 who lost their lives. To view the list of names that appear on the memorial, visit our website by clicking  here.
