We would like to thank everyone who attended and enjoyed the event.  The raffle prize winners were: Spirits Bouquet - Katie Sauer Pirate Basket - Shawn Banks St. George altar photo - Virginia Sauer Roustabout movie poster - Mark Wittman 50/50 winner - Richard Weiland T-shirts that were ordered at the event can be picked up at Progressive Home S&L in Allentown after Tuesday, May 3. We would like to thank our 23 sponsors who placed ads in the event program, the staff at the Hollywood Theater and North Way Christian Community for opening their parking lot for the event. A special thank you goes out to our volunteers. As we begin to plan ahead for future events to gather our parishioners, alumni, Allentown friends and supporters, we welcome and appreciate any suggestions that you can provide. Please contact us!

  Order your St. George T-shirt at the Sunday Matinee!! posted  Apr 20, 2016, 12:12 PM  by Saint George Church Preservation Society North Way Christian Community Church, across from the Hollywood, has offered their large parking lot for our event. Thanks for the hospitality! We will be taking orders for St. George T-shirts this Sunday!! The shirts will be  dark blue  with  gold print. The statue is no longer on Schramm Hall, but now we can wear it. We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the show!! The Closing Mass was not necessarily the Final Mass

  posted   Apr 6, 2016, 11:10 AM   by Saint George Church Preservation Society     On Sunday, April 3, 2016, 796 people attended the Mass of Closure at the former St. George Church. This time of disappointment and sadness was mixed with the comfort of being together with family and reconnecting with so many of our Allentown neighbors, classmates, and friends. We joined together to continue the legacy of St. George. Jim Falcioni and our Choir We are thankful to Mr. Jim Falcioni, our Choir Director, who returned in December in time for the Christmas season. Jim recruited former choir members and new volunteers to form a small yet dedicated group that sang during the masses through Lent, Holy Week and Easter. Our choir was joined by guest singers and musicians and they provided the beautiful music and songs at Mass on Sunday.
