80th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor

December 7, 2021 The 80th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor   We remember and honor those who served. -St. George Church Preservation Society     On December 7, 1991, the 50th anniversary of Pearl Harbor,  the St. George World War II memorial was restored and rededicated.   The restoration project was carried out by a committee of dedicated parishioners and financed by donations of St George parishioners. Photo Credit: Helen Baney, Class of 1942   Inscribed are the names of the 1017 who saw service including the 35 who lost their lives. The memorial is presently in storage by the Diocese.
