St. George Day at "The Grove" II Review & Photos

 

Our successful St. George Day at the Grove II Sunday, April 23, 2023 (the feast day of St. George)   The St. George & Allentown Community gathered on the feast day of St. George at the historic Linden Grove Nightclub for a memorable event. The sold-out crowd was excited and appreciative for this opportunity to gather and reminisce and there were many compliments for the fun event and good food. Cake made by Margie Sammel In addition to music by D.J. Tim, Door Prizes, Chinese Auction and Raffle, there was a slide show of St. George photos, a selection of yearbooks, a display of the St. George WWII memorial and St. George trophies. Guests also gathered around the replica St. George Statue for photos.  Guests also shopped at the St. George Store for mugs, Allentown History Books, and the 1960s St. George sketch by artist Calvin Lynch. Thank You   The volunteers at SGCPS would like to thank everyone for coming to this special event and for your generosity, encouragement and support.
