St. George WWII Memorial Construction Update

Image
Dear St. George & Allentown Community: Since the announcement in our Veterans Day newsletter, our partnership has made progress on the repair, restoration and refinishing of the plaques and the construction of the St. George WWII Monument. It will be located in the St. George section of St. John Vianney Cemetery. We are starting to plan a dedication ceremony sometime around the 80th Anniversary of D-Day in June. Please help us to contact any WWII veterans and families who could attend the dedication ceremony with a possible reception to follow. Reply to this email with any contact information that you can provide. Click  HERE  and take a few moments to check the 1,017 names that are listed on the memorial. We'll be providing more details about the dedication ceremony and an exact date once the construction work nears completion. Thanks for your help. Take care & God Bless, The SGCPS Leadership Team
