SGCPS Reunion II Review and Photos

 

To our St. George family & community: Many of you are aware that workers for the Diocese have been dismantling the interior of St. George Church over the past few months. We are very heartbroken and disappointed that this is happening, especially in knowing that SGCPS had made viable proposals to care for the church and keep it open at no cost to the Diocese. Please stay tuned and we'll be sending more details and photos. In the meantime we will continue to preserve our St. George community and legacy. St. George, Veterans & Allentown Community Reunion II Sunday, April 19, 2026 The St. George & Allentown Community gathered in the Crystal Room at Salvatore's Event Center for another memorable event presented by SGCPS. The crowd was excited and appreciative for this opportunity to gather and reminisce. There were many compliments for the fun event and good food. In addition to music, there were raffles and slide shows of St. George photos, a selection of yearbooks, St. George trophies and the display of the St. George WWII monument. Guests also gathered around the replica St. George Statue for photos and shopped at the St. George Store for mugs, and the 1960's St. George sketch by artist Calvin Lynch. The volunteers at SGCPS would like to thank everyone for coming to this special event and for your continued encouragement and support.
